This year LouisiANIME’s game room is being run by Play N Trade Lafayette. They will be providing a variety of games as well as a full tournament schedule.
Tournament Schedule:
Friday, May 10:
6pm – Pokémon Black 2 & Pokémon White 2
7pm – Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition & Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3
Saturday, May 11:
1pm – Halo 4 (2v2) & Super Smash Bros Brawl
3pm – Playstation All Stars
5pm – Injustice & Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (2v2)
8pm – Playstation All Stars (2v2) & Super Smash Bros Brawl (2v2)
Sunday May 12:
1pm – Raffle & Top 4 from Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, Playstation All Stars, and Injustice are played in front of a live audience in that order until bracket is finished. Awards Ceremonies follow.
Tournaments are $5 to enter. Play N Trade will be raffling off $100 in store credit for their Lafayette store at 1pm on Sunday.
SCARS vs. The Order
A Steampunk Live Action Role Playing experience
Enter the world of worlds from a future past that never was. A multiversal conflict turned war between two sides. This is the fight for freedom, order, and existence as we know it. The S.C.A.R.S. vs. Order conflict, a War of Worlds!
Live Action Role-Playing is an exciting and colorful hobby similar to regular role-playing games except the added excitement of costuming and full on interaction with other players in a group storyline of intrigue and adventure. Players may use their existing Steampunk character to play in this weekend’s adventure or select one of our various pre-made characters to give Steampunk Role Playing a try.
Stop by the LARP Room to pick up a character sheet and a player mission for the weekend. Complete your player mission to help turn the tide of the War Worlds in our ever changing storyline where the players themselves help form the living storyline. Better yet attend the SCARS vs. The Order LARP panel and get a more in-depth look at the evolving storyline and ask how you can get involved to influence the group driven story hundreds of other Steampunks have already experienced and enjoyed.
Times:
LARP Game Masters will be on hand at the Airship Isabella table all weekend long during vending hours to hand out game materials and answer questions.
